Lagoon Camp
About Lagoon Camp
Lagoon Camp occupies a private concession along the Linyanti River in northern Botswana. The camp consists of eight canvas tents built on raised wooden platforms, each featuring en-suite bathrooms with indoor and outdoor showers. The main area provides views over the river, a plunge pool, and a fire pit for evening gatherings. The location is characterized by riverine forest and open floodplains. Wildlife common to this area includes elephant, hippopotamus, and buffalo. Predator sightings often involve packs of African wild dogs, lions, and leopards. Guests engage in daily activities such as morning and afternoon game drives in open vehicles, guided bush walks, and boat excursions on the river channel. Seasonal fishing is permitted according to local regulations. Access to the camp is provided via light aircraft flights to the private airstrip followed by a short road transfer. The design prioritizes direct access to the surrounding environment and maintains a focus on tracking animals in their natural habitat.
