Wilderness Qorokwe is a sophisticated sanctuary situated within a private 26,180-hectare concession in the southeastern reaches of the Okavango Delta. Bordering the world-renowned Moremi Game Reserve, the camp is strategically positioned between the Santantadibe and Gomoti channels, offering a diverse landscape of acacia woodlands, seasonal floodplains, and permanent water channels. The name 'Qorokwe' translates to 'the place where the buffalo broke through the bush into the water,' a nod to the massive herds that frequent the area alongside a high density of predators. The camp’s architecture is a masterclass in contemporary eco-luxury, featuring nine elegant tented suites elevated on wooden platforms to maximize views of the surrounding lagoon. Each suite is designed with earthy tones and organic textures, blending seamlessly into the wild environment while offering modern comforts like indoor/outdoor showers.
