About Mopiri Camp

Mopiri Camp is located on a wooded island in the Okavango Delta, surrounded by a network of waterways and channels. This strategic position allows guests to experience both land and water-based activities throughout their stay. Accommodation consists of eight spacious tents, each equipped with en-suite bathrooms, private decks, and panoramic views of the lake, ensuring a comfortable canvas experience amid nature. The camp is built on elevated platforms to minimize environmental impact and offer guests an unobstructed view of local wildlife, including elephants, hippos, and lechwe. Guests can engage in game drives, where experienced guides lead excursions into the heart of the delta, revealing its rich biodiversity. Traditional mokoro (dugout canoe) rides provide an intimate experience with the waterways, allowing for close encounters with aquatic birds and other species unique to this habitat. Mopiri Camp emphasizes sustainability and conservation, integrating practices that support the local ecosystem and communities. Evening dining is provided under the stars, with an emphasis on local cuisine. Clients may enjoy communal storytelling around the campfire, fostering connections with both nature and fellow travelers.
