Takwela Camp
About Takwela Camp
Takwela Camp is situated at the confluence of the Luangwa and Mwaleshi Rivers in the North Luangwa National Park, a remote and largely untouched wilderness. The camp features classic, well-designed tents that offer comfort while keeping guests directly engaged with the raw environment. This region is defined by its dramatic, untouched landscapes and high concentrations of big game, including elephant, buffalo, and a healthy predator population. The experience here is exclusive and wild; there are very few other tourists in the area, allowing for truly private and intimate wildlife encounters. Guided walks and drives take guests through pristine terrain, offering a rare glimpse of Zambia’s bush in its most authentic, untamed form. It is the destination for the true safari connoisseur.
